This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose information when you:

  • information about how the website is used, including pages visited, time spent, clicks, IP address, browser type and device information;
  • information collected through cookies and similar technologies.

You can adjust your browser settings to limit or refuse cookies.

QR-U application information

When you create and use a QR-U account, we collect and store:

  • username;
  • email address;
  • date of birth;
  • gender;
  • answers provided to QR-U compatibility questions.

The compatibility questions are used to assess and compare compatibility between users. Depending on the questions answered, responses may include information relating to matters such as:

  • personality and temperament;
  • interests and lifestyle preferences;
  • beliefs and spirituality;
  • political or social views;
  • relationships and attachment;
  • intimacy and sexual preferences;
  • personal values and opinions.

Some questionnaire answers may therefore be regarded as sensitive or highly personal information.

We do not collect information through QR-U that is unrelated to registration, account management or compatibility matching.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use information collected through our website to:

  • respond to enquiries;
  • provide requested services;
  • improve our website and content;
  • send newsletters or marketing communications where consent has been provided;
  • monitor and analyse website usage.

We use information collected through QR-U to:

  • create and maintain user accounts;
  • verify that users meet applicable age requirements;
  • operate the compatibility-question system;
  • calculate compatibility results without disclosing individual questionnaire answers to other users;
  • provide personalised compatibility results;
  • allow users to manage their profiles;
  • respond to support enquiries;
  • maintain the security and proper operation of the App;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

QR-U compatibility-question answers are used for the operation of the compatibility service. We do not use those answers for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Compatibility Results and Privacy of Answers

QR-U uses users’ questionnaire answers to calculate compatibility results, scores or comparisons.

Individual questionnaire answers are not displayed to or shared with other users.

Other users may only see compatibility results or scores generated by QR-U, together with profile information that the user has chosen or agreed to make visible through the App.

A user’s email address, full date of birth and individual compatibility-question answers are not publicly displayed to other users.

Questionnaire answers are used only to operate QR-U’s compatibility system, maintain the user’s account, improve the service and meet applicable legal or security requirements.

We do not sell questionnaire answers or use them for unrelated advertising or marketing.
